Why Choose TripU for Performance Trips
You line up the performance, and TripU plans everything around it. Directors and our team build the itinerary together, with the performance at the center, so your group arrives rested and on time.
Every trip is all-inclusive, so families see one price, locked in up front: airfare or motorcoach, hotels, all meals, charter bus, a licensed guide, entrance fees, medical insurance and overnight hotel security from 10 PM to 5 AM. Families register online, and we handle the logistics so you can focus on the music.
Plan on 12–18 months ahead for the best rates. That window locks in hotels and flights and gives your boosters time to fundraise.

FAQ About Performance Trips
-
Bands, choirs, orchestras, theatre groups, and any school club or organization, from middle school through high school.
-
No. The director arranges the performance, festival, competition or clinic, and TripU builds the whole trip around it: travel, hotels, meals, sightseeing and a licensed guide.
-
On flights, instruments follow the airline's rules. Small instruments can usually go as carry-on when there's space, while larger ones are checked or need their own seat, so check your airline's policy early. On bus trips, instruments ride in the luggage bays.
-
Free chaperone spots are typically included at 1 for every 10–15 students, and we can work with other arrangements if your group needs them.
-
Most all-inclusive TripU trips run $1,000–$3,000 per student for a 4–5 day trip, depending on destination, season, group size and how you travel. Families see one price, locked in up front.
-
The best time is built around your performance date. Your director picks the festival, competition, clinic or venue, and we plan the travel, hotel and sightseeing around it. Spring is the busiest season for school groups, so if your date is in the spring, request your quote early.
-
Book 12–18 months ahead. That gives you the best choice of dates, hotels and activities, and time for families to plan payments and boosters to fundraise.
